Currently,
there are enough open seats for all potential registrants.
When demand is high, we do maintain a waiting list in 708
Clemens to match students with courses. This waiting list
is only for students with scheduling conflicts. Students
may not be placed on the waiting list if there are open
seats that will fit their schedule.
We
fill seats in the order that you sign up, however graduating
seniors are given priority placement. As always,
the General Education Office staff is available to assist
and explain the process.
Being
placed on the waiting list does not necessarily guarantee
placement in your desired class. .
Here are some notes concerning
the waiting list:
The
more potential class sections, with recitations that fit
your schedule, you list, the better your chances of being
registered.
Graduating
seniors are given first priority for registration.
The
General Education office cannot override student
checkstops, registration credit hour limits for students
or student billing issues. Please be sure to clear
up any of these issues -- or you may not be registered.
Waiting
list requests cannot be submitted online or over
the phone. Please stop by the office.
If
you manage to register for an open class, or change your
mind, after being placed on our waiting list, please contact usso that you may be removed.
You
will be contacted if and when you are placed in a class.
CONFIRMING
REGISTRATION: If we place you in a class, you will
be contacted by this office. You must confirm your registration
with this office to remain in the course. Failure
to do so, will mean an automatic "drop."
